The Mirror Skin is an interactive costume/scenography which reflects and mingles fragments of spaces and bodies it encounters on its surface in unexpected ways. For the viewer, the skin reveals an alternative image of themselves which constantly shatters and reforms. For the wearer, the skin creates an identity which is constantly in flux. For both, the skin generates opportunities for encounter. A film of the mirror skin has been exhibited as a video installation. now, I am investigating ways of creating a live encounter between the mirror skin and audience members.

A new play by Greg Shewring which premiered as part of the Mayfest Off the Peg season 2012. BENCH is a series of moments between strangers, friends, lovers and listeners on the same park bench. This new play looks at how one place can play host to epiphanies, awkward silences and everything in between. BENCH is a funny and fast-paced montage of everyday encounters, offering a glimpse into the lives of a few of the varied characters who might stop and take a seat.
